Off into the Peak District we went for the breathtaking Buxton wedding of Tori and Rich – It was the childhood home of Tori for this gorgeous wedding and the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the beautiful bride and groom, their lovely family and all the guests. From the friendship, laughter and dancing, to the mischievous guests and homemade details, we were able to capture it all and turn a day of rain into a day of shine. Our cheeks hurt from smiling so much!
When the rain started pouring on their wedding day, most couples would have been stressed out. But not this pair! We all embraced the imperfection and turned it into a hilarious adventure. From guests slipping on wet grass to the umbrellas turning inside out, it was a day full of laughter and love. Who needs a perfect sunny day when you can have a rainy wedding filled with unforgettable moments? We don’t, we’re here what ever the weather!
The church where the wedding took place wasn’t just any old church – it had deep family connections. Generations of the bride’s family had tied the knot in that very same aisle. It was like getting married in a family heirloom! This wedding was a beautiful blend of love, tradition, and a whole lot of family ties.
Big shout out to the friends and family of Tori and Rich too, they were an absolute riot! From the cheeky friends who threw out some awesome dance moves (after shots) to the best man’s hilarious speech that had everyone in stitches, it was a celebration filled with laughter and joy. This wedding was the perfect combination of friendship, laughter, and a whole lot of mischief!
Without a doubt, the DIY decorations at this marquee wedding were out of this world too! From homemade wedding favours to the personalised remembrance area, this wedding truly outdid itself. We think that It looked absolutely gorgeous. We must also mention the delicious food, Sue LeBonne catering provided the most delicious 3 course meal – what a memorable wedding feast! Thank you for feeding us too, we couldn’t have eaten it quicker as it was so yummy!
The dance floor was on fire at this wedding! From the Electric Slide to the Macarena, guests of all ages were tearing up the dance floor. The DJ played all the hits, and even Grandma was getting down with her bad self. The party lasted all night, with laughter, twirling, and some questionable dance moves. It was the perfect party to end a day full of love! Tori and Rich even got thrown in the air or the bumps as we know it, no broken bones though, thank goodness!
As the day was filled with joy, there was a tinge of sadness as Tori and Rich’s beloved pet, Archie, was no longer there to wag his tail and steal everyone’s attention. We took a moment to remember him, raising a glass to the antics and unconditional love he gave. It’s not a wedding without a few tears, and even though the rain was pouring, Archie’s spirit was there <3 So, all in all we had an amazing time at this Buxton wedding. We loved being part of Tori and Rich’s epic wedding day. We literally couldn’t have asked for anything more as wedding photographers. Thank you from us to you. Can we do it again soon?
