What an absolute pleasure it was photographing Amy & Darren’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. Amy and Darren began their journey of married life together at All Saints Church, just around the corner from the charming Sandon Hall. Amy’s family have lived in the area for decades and it was only fitting to get married close to home, in a special place where both families live.
We hope you love this Staffordshire wedding as much as we loved photographing it. Enjoy the tranquil scenery and for all you future brides and grooms we have included some contact details of the wedding suppliers Amy and Darren chose to help make their day perfect!

After the ceremony Amy’s grandfather wanted to take us to the grounds of Sandon Hall to show us a magnificent tree which he tells us with a twinkle of pride in his eyes was once a small seed that he planted there almost 70 years ago. While our happy couple were enjoying their champagne and chocolates provided as part of the great service delivered by Gardenia Wedding Cars Hire we sneaked in a few romantic photographs of Amy and Darren with their stylish wedding car and the famous tree in the backdrop. Chris who owns the wedding car company and was the chauffeur for the day made our job so easy as he patiently moved his wedding car wherever our creative vision wanted – thank you Chris!

The wedding reception took place in a marquee set up in a picturesque field very close to the families farm. The table tops were beautifully decorated with bouquets of wild flowers in handmade wooden vases with candleholders made by our lovely bride and groom’s friends. The rustic tables and vintage birdcages worked together really beautifully – we loved Amy’s fabulous choice of style and colours.

We are going to finish this blog on a high – literally. Finding the most suitable location for a big group photograph of everybody can be sometimes tricky. Let us tell you that this wasn’t the case at this wedding because the bride and groom had this already planned out!. And so it happened that a slightly terrified Elizabeth and videographer Laura from Vision Wave Weddings went up on a cage on the front of a tractor to take that aerial photo of the guests. Girls, I salute your bravery and dedication!
