We are well into the wedding season now and can’t believe that for the first time in a long time, our blog is up to date! Well almost! Can we please take a moment to soak in this sweet accomplishment! Wow, that feels good even my OCD alter-ego is doing a little happy dance right now.
Today we are bringing you a small selection of our personal favourites from our latest engagement session.
We LOVE engagement photography and that is one of the reasons why our engagement photo shoots will always be complimentary! Even though lot of photographers will charge their couples for this session. We think that the engagement session is a great opportunity for us and our clients to get to know each other and to also help them get used to being in front of the camera.
We always encourage our couples to bring their pets to the pre-wedding shoots and we had a lovely surprise today (one with a furry wagging tail)…

Say hello to our gorgeous couple Justine, Dan and Snoopy the dog who was very well-behaved during the entire photo shoot. Yes, the marmitey treats probably had a lot to do with that but nevertheless Snoop was an absolute star! We first met Snoop during the pre-wedding consultation with Justine and Dan two years ago (where did that time go?) and we fell in love with him. Maybe we might be lucky to see him again…wearing a suit and carrying the rings down the aisle. Who knows?
It’s been almost two years since we last met up with Justine and Dan to talk about their wedding and it is now only three weeks away! The ceremony will be held at Yeldersley Hall in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and we hope that the weather will be as good for you as it was today! Watch this space for more photos from todays shoot.
