Pendrell Hall Wedding | Staffordshire | July 2019

We are so excited about finally having a little bit of time to work on our blog! It’s been too long since we shared a wedding. We’ve had so many gorgeous weddings this summer and we’ve been itching to share them with you!

To be honest us wedding photographers never stop working. 😉 When we are not flashing our cameras in people’s faces, we are either editing, responding to clients’ emails, designing albums or working on our social media. And there’s always so much to share!

Katie & Oli…

Recently we photographed the epic, gorgeous, fun and emotional wedding of Katie and Oli. They married at the beautiful Pendrell Hall. We think these two had the perfect recipe for an amazing and memorable wedding.  Not a cloud in a sky kind of Summer day, gallons of vintage cider, garden games, delicious food and fantastic music. Everyone loved it and even we couldn’t stop but sway to the music while trying to focus on what we were there for. 🙂

And the fabulous people who worked on Katie & Oli’s wedding day are…

‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett

‘One of the strange things about living in the world is that it is only now and
then one is quite sure one is going to live forever and ever and ever. One
knows it sometimes when one gets up at the tender solemn dawn-time and
goes out and stands alone and throws one’s head far back and looks up
and up and watches the pale sky slowly changing and flushing and
marvellous unknown things happening until the East almost makes one cry
out and one’s heart stands still at the strange unchanging majesty of the
rising of the sun — which has been happening every morning for
thousands and thousands and thousands of years.

One knows it then for a
moment or so. And one knows it sometimes when one stands by oneself in
a wood at sunset and the mysterious deep gold stillness slanting though
and under the branches seems to be saying slowly again and again
something one cannot quite hear, however much one tries. Then
sometimes the immense quiet of the dark blue at night with millions of
stars waiting and watching makes one sure; and sometimes a sound of far-
off music makes it true; and sometimes the look in someone’s eye.’
